Who is this course for?
This course is for English teachers who want to either self-prepare or prepare students for Cambridge exams (C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency).

What you will learn
This course will teach you how to work on advanced grammar and vocabulary using the texts provided by Cambridge as input. The practice for an exam doesn't end when an exercise ends—and this is probably the biggest mistake many students make when they are preparing for an exam. This course will teach you how to:

• fully explore the grammar in the texts from practice tests and coursebooks;

• fully explore the vocabulary in the texts from practice tests and coursebooks;

• connect the grammar in the texts provided by Cambridge to the grammar reference in coursebooks;

• predict how grammar and vocabulary will be tested in the Reading and Use of English paper;

• design grammar and vocabulary exercises on your own.

• understand what flexible use of the language is (and apply it to the writing paper).

How will this course work?

Different from most courses focused on exams, in this course, students will be assigned exam tasks to work on prior to class (the tasks will be sent 1 week before the lesson; ideally, students should work on it before the class, although they can still follow the lesson in case they happen not to have time to work in advance). Whether they've got the wrong or right answers, the goal of the lesson is to deconstruct the entire exercise in order to explore the grammar and vocabulary in it.

This is a group course.

The duration of each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
