The course

​

This course focuses on writing feedback and the assessment criteria used in Cambridge English exams. The four key criteria—Content, Communicative Achievement, Organization, and Language—will each be explored individually. Each subscale will be examined thoroughly in its own lesson, providing a comprehensive understanding of how to assess writing effectively. After each lesson, students will be assigned a homework task related to the specific topic. The following lesson will then focus on analyzing how students have applied the assessment criteria in their work and discussing effective strategies for providing writing feedback.

By the end of the course, you will have a comprehensive framework for evaluating writing that you can apply to your exam preparation lessons.
